While pursuing my Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University, I was very fortunate to work in Dr. Samuel Sia's lab, alongside PhD-candidate Harshit Harpaldas, during the pandemic. Greatly influenced by the need for point-of-care diagnostics, society saw an influx in the advancement of diagnostic technology, and this paper captures this outcome.

Starting my senior year of high school, I had the incredible opportunity to intern at Dr. Mark Stopfer's lab at the National Institutes of Health. There, I worked closely with Dr. Stopfer and Dr. Samuel Reiter on this gustatory project, investigating how the sense of taste is represented in the nervous system.
